Mossgrow Coarse Growth Mixture A1L

Mossgrow Coarse Growth Mixture A1L is a limed and fertilized substrate mixture designed for the cultivation of berries. It contains coarse white peat moss, sphagnum moss and perlite. The mixture is both airy and robust. The sphagnum moss improves the water retention and water absorption capacity of the easily permeable basic mixture.

The growing media in the Mossgrow product family contain sphagnum moss. Sphagnum moss absorbs water easily, retains moisture, yet remains airy and has a durable structure. It is also an antiseptic material. These properties make the product an excellent growing medium for seedling production as well as for cultivating plants with sensitive roots. Wood fiber can also be used in the products to provide a more stable structure.
